I am a retired Army Officer, now working with Tata Aerospace and Defence as the Head of a Business Vertical. Be it working in the Army or in the corporate sector, my work has always been stressful! Around 12–13 years ago, in 2008, I started suffering from a burning sensation while urinating I was also feeling lethargic.
At first, I ignored it, but when I persisted, I decided some investigation was in order. I got my regular tests done. The test results showed I had diabetes! This was a big shock for me. Nobody in my immediate family has or had diabetes, so I just didn’t expect to get it either.
That was not all—I was also suffering from hypertension. I ended up taking Amaryl 2 mg, Janumet 50/500 twice a day and Insulin 8 units once a day. In spite of all this medication, my sugars were not in control. Tablets for hypertension were also on since 2008.
As luck would have it, my coursemate Capt Jainendra Pant, now an FFD mentor, told me about "Freedom from Diabetes" and their Diabetes reversal program. At the time, he was participating in the Holistic Transformation Program (HTP). He strongly recommended that I too join the Diabetes Reversal program.
Seeing his progress, I quickly signed on. It was the best decision I could have taken. My HTP batch began in June 2020; by July I was told my diabetes reversal has progressed to a point where I no longer needed insulin. In another few days, all my diabetes medicines were stopped. In short, within 45 days of the program, all my medicines plus insulin were stopped. Since then my BSL has been under control without any medication!

When I started the program, I weighed102 kg. I also had several other problems, like varicosities, which were limiting my exercise regime. FFD Diabetes specialist took care of this too, by incorporating different exercises into my routine.
At one point, my weight loss plateaued, and I was a bit concerned, but FFD's innovative SNS water fasting regimen came to my rescue, and my weight continued moving down. Currently, my weight is 72 Kg and my HbA1c is 5.2.
