FOR 6 YEARS MY BLOOD SUGAR WAS ABOVE 250, THEN FFD HAPPENED
I always believed that it was not possible to stop medicines for disorders like diabetes, thyroid, cholesterol. So do most doctors. I’m so happy to have been proved wrong.
In 2014, I was diagnosed with diabetes, and for the next six years, it colored every aspect of my life. My food, physical activity, even my sleep. Although I followed all the precautions my doctor prescribed, followed the diabetic diet, and did my exercise nothing was actually helping me. My sugar levels remained stubbornly in the high range of 250-300.
Diabetes also brought a host of other complications like wrist and ankle pain and stiffness in my back, to the extent that getting up after sitting for a while had become a painful task.
My husband, who works in Malaysia, had spoken about my health issues with his boss, whose wife informed him about FFD, which, to our pleasant surprise was in Pune itself—my hometown. We did some research and I was very impressed with their successes. I registered for the Online First Session with Dr Pramod Tripathi. It was so insightful and informative, for the first time since I was diagnosed, I felt a sense of hope. I enrolled in the Intensive Reversal Program, 55th batch, and began my reversal journey.
My batch started on 28 January 2020. Within 3 days my assigned doctor at FFD began reducing my diabetes medicine dosage. Just about a month later, I was told to stop all my diabetes medicines. Six years of medicines gone in 1 month. Superb! My HBA1c which was quite high at 7.7 came down to 5.34 (normal range) within two months.
I saw a rapid improvement on other health parameters too. I lost 10 kilos within 4 months, and my cholesterol tablets too were stopped. The pain in my wrist and ankle disappeared, and my back, which used to swell, is now in fine shape. I feel fit and supple again.
A lot of the credit goes to the FFD team and my batch mates who supported me wholeheartedly. Dr. Pramod Tripathi is absolutely right, “Group therapy works and it works tremendously well.”
The next task I set for myself was passing the Glucose Tolerance Test (GTT). It is the ultimate test for diabetics, and FFD felicitates everybody who clears it. I prepared by being extra cautious about diet, exercise, and meditation. Unfortunately, I missed clearing GTT by a few points, but I did manage to pass in the IGT category. It was a setback, but it has made me even more determined to clear my GTT in the coming year and get rid of my Diabetic tag for good.
I thank God for introducing me to FFD and Dr. Pramod Tripathi… the life-changer.
