I'm Usha Sundaresan from Bengaluru.

My diabetes story

I had always been diligent about my health, especially considering my family's history of diabetes. My routine of maintaining a healthy balance between diet and exercise continued until the birth of my grandson.

Shortly after, my family noticed some unusual changes in my behavior, prompting a visit to the doctor. The tests revealed elevated sugar levels, confirming my diagnosis of diabetes.

I was aware of FFD for many years actually.

Joining FFD was a wise decision for me. Surprisingly, my FFD doctor prescribed medicines that were gradually phased out within two months, granting me true freedom from them.

Despite always maintaining a normal weight, I experienced a 5 kg weight loss. Currently, I am on a muscle-building plan, which is fantastic.

The knee issue is not resolved yet but definitely, there is improvement & hope the solution comes very soon along with exercise. My cholesterol levels are now well under control.

In terms of exercise, I engage in activities feasible at home, and soon I plan to join a gym conveniently located in my society.
