I'm S. Shyam from Kharagpur, an engineering professional who worked with TATA’s, Siemens AG. Currently I’m running a consultancy.

My diabetes story

A health examination in 2007 disclosed I had diabetes. My blood sugar levels remained normal with medication until 2017. The same year, my wife was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer.

I was emotionally and physically invested in her treatment. Over time, I began to experience a variety of pains throughout my body, including leg, back, neck, and other aches.

Despite taking medication, my blood sugar levels were skyrocketing. The doctor tried several different drug combinations, but the condition did not stabilise. There is no diabetes in my family tree.

How did FFD happen?

I learned about FFD in 2022 when I was exploring different medical options to cure my diabetes and health.

What made me choose FFD?

I wanted good control over my sugars and freedom from medicines. With FFD, saw hope.

Reversal story

My health began showing signs of improvement right from day one. I stopped taking my medication a month after I joined FFD.  My fasting blood sugar level was not under control; in fact, it was slightly elevated. The doctor once more advised taking a small dose of medicine after dinner to manage fasting level.

My small dose of medicine has also stopped and I am very happy. I lost about 5 kg of weight and consistently maintained a BMI of 23.

My overall body pain has significantly decreased since I started going to the gym. I now feel much better physically. My HbA1c drop from 8 to 6.8 (with no medication) is amazing.

I like to do gym work out and play badminton.  I am motivated to do long distance cycling which I will start soon.
