I am Savithri Srinivasan a 61-year-old homemaker from Chennai. I loved and enjoyed being a homemaker and have always liked the role of taking care of my family.
My parents and my 4 sisters are diabetic.
I was on the borderline since 20 years, took no medicines, but life was not smooth. I suffered a lot due to diabetes.
It so happened that I had to undergo surgery for soft tissue sarcoma on my left hand in 2017. Was asked to stay in the hospital for extra days due to a rise in the BSL during that time.
Also was given insulin for one-month post-surgery. This extra hospital stay due to high sugars was quite disappointing.

Though I was on the borderline, somewhere in my mind I wanted to get rid of it and started a serious search for some solution from the past 4 years. Finally, I got one in FFD. I came to know about FFD through media, through Facebook.
I first attended the introductory online session of Dr. Pramod Tripathi. It was just overwhelming. The examples of people becoming free with statistics was really impressive.
The thought that if these people can do it, why can't I crossed my mind. I was just a pre-diabetic. I enrolled for HTP batch 65 then.
Something unbelievable happened. Just within 10 days of joining HTP, all the 4 BSL readings came into the green zone. For the uninitiated, the green zone is the indication that your sugar levels are perfectly in the normal range.
Just imagine, 20 years of pre-diabetic status gone in 10 days. What an amazingly speedy result! I also saw a great improvement in my weight loss too. Within 3 months (by April 2021), I lost 13 kg.
The interesting part comes here. I had a recurrence of sarcoma and had to undergo surgery again on my left arm. Was asked to avoid any type of fasting and exercises, gained weight, also had slight fluctuations in the BSL as I got deviated from the FFD protocol.
Now, I am back on track, but during this time, my BSLs were steady within limits and I was discharged within 3 days of the major surgery. Also, no insulin intake was prescribed post-surgery. Stable sugars, early discharge...all this could only happen due to deep reversal within that happened at FFD.
I am very proud to share that I became the Winner of IGT >60 years - Female Category in Muktotsav 2021. Muktotsav is the annual event of FFD where the participants are lauded for their achievements.
