My Diabetes Story
My diagnosis of diabetes came as a surprise, triggered by classic symptoms like excessive thirst and unexplained weight loss. I don’t have a direct family history of diabetes through my parents, but I do recall a maternal link.
At first, I didn’t face any major complications, but the early signs were enough for someone to suggest I get checked—and that’s when it was confirmed. Like many others, I started with medication and lifestyle changes. Over time, my journey with diabetes had its ups and downs—phases of control followed by relapses.
How was FFD introduced and what made me choose it?
The turning point came when I attended a Freedom From Diabetes (FFD) webinar. Intrigued and hopeful, I joined the annual program HTP, encouraged by the inspiring content and expert guidance available online.
Reversal Story
The FFD team performed a detailed study of my case and designed a tailor-made plan. In my first attempt, I made great progress—I became medicine-free in just two months. However, due to some health setbacks and my physiotherapist’s advice to stop gymming, I had to restart my medication.
My HbA1c, which had dropped to 5.5, started climbing again, reaching 6.4. At its highest, it was 7.5.
As a fitness enthusiast, gymming is a big part of who I am. Losing a few kilos due to diabetes did affect my motivation, but I kept going. During my second journey with FFD, I took a more holistic approach—especially after the Inner Transformation sessions with Dr. Mayurika.
I was initially skeptical about meditation. I thought it was pointless since I was already disciplined with diet and workouts. But after one sleepless night and a powerful session with Dr. Mayurika, I gave it a real try—and it worked. Meditation helped me sleep better, think clearer, and manage stress more effectively.
Looking back, I’ve realized that diabetes reversal isn’t a one-time win—it’s a lifestyle. As I say, once we feel in control, we often slip—because of travel, stress, or social events.
I’ve now restarted the FFD protocol with full commitment. My goal is clear: to clear the GTT and stay medicine-free. I trust the FFD team and know that with sincere effort, success will follow.
