My Diabetes Story
In June 2020, during the peak of COVID, I started experiencing excessive thirst, Frequent urination, and constant hunger—Clear signs something was wrong.
Though earlier reports from 2018–2019 had shown borderline sugars, I ignored them until my fasting sugar shot past 200 mg/dL and HbA1c reached 7.2. That’s when I knew home remedies weren’t enough.
With diabetes running in my family, I understood the risk. I was put on Metformin twice daily, But I was not comfortable relying on medication long-term.
How was FFD introduced?
As I mentioned, I was reluctant to rely on medicines. That’s when my colleague, Sanjay D'Souza who had already been through the Freedom From Diabetes (FFD) program, Introduced me to a life-changing path.
In a candid moment, he joked, “You look like a sick cow. Don’t you want to become a horse?” That line hit me hard—and pushed me into action. I joined FFD's annual program HTP.

Reversal Story
I witnessed a remarkable transformation after joining FFD. Within just four weeks, I stopped all diabetes medication.
And over a year later, My HbA1c stayed steady at around 5.7–5.8—Medicine-free.
This journey wasn’t just about diet or medicines. I fully embraced the FFD protocols: Clean eating, Regular workouts, Journaling, Daily affirmations, and meditation.
These practices help me stay calm and manage stress effectively.
I also lost weight—dropping from 74 kg to 61 kg, now maintaining around 63–64 kg while building muscle. With expert coaching and consistent gym sessions, I exceeded my fitness goals.
Always passionate about marathons, I rediscovered my athletic side. With better stamina and strength, I placed 50th in my age group in the Tata Mumbai 10K—going from “nowhere to somewhere,” as I proudly say.
Now, I’m focused on clearing my GTT to confirm my reversal.
