Hello all,
I am U Narayan Sharma, working as a contractor. My base is in Siliguri, but due to work assignments, I often travel extensively, especially to Sikkim.
Key Takeaways
- Insulin stopped
- 7.5 point drop in HbA1c
- Weight loss 5 kg
My Diabetes Story
My diabetes diagnosis came unexpectedly around 2002, nearly a decade before I found FFD, through a routine blood test. I constantly felt weak, dizzy, and lacked energy, making life incredibly difficult.
Despite medication, nothing improved, leaving me mentally and physically exhausted.
How did FFD happen?
One day, a Facebook ad by Dr. Pramod Tripathi caught my eye, and something clicked. I decided to explore FFD. Getting my blood tests done before joining, I was shocked to see my HbA1c at 14.
That was my turning point; I knew I had to take charge.

Reversal Story
Once I joined FFD, I followed the program strictly for three months—doing Surya Namaskar, regular walks, and workouts.
The results were incredible: my HbA1c dropped from 14 to below 6.5. That’s when I truly believed change was possible.
I had joined FFD because I was tired of medicines and insulin without real results.
At the time, I was on 10 units of insulin every night. But just seven days into the program, I stopped it completely. It gave me hope and renewed energy. I also lost 5 kg, going from 77 to 72 kg.
Unfortunately, travel and work disrupted my routine, and my HbA1c crept back up to 7.5. With long stays away from home, I often ate whatever was available and couldn’t maintain my discipline.
But today, I am restarting everything—Surya Namaskar, Kapalbhati, Anulom-Vilom, meditation, and walking. I used to cycle 25 km four times a week and walk 7–10 km daily. I want to get back to that.
FFD helped me rediscover my athletic side. I felt energized through cycling, yoga, and daily movement. Life got in the way, but I am ready to begin again.
Mentally, I feel stable. Though I have not done formal inner transformation sessions, I did speak with a counselor once and stay in touch with my FFD doctor and diet expert.
Morning meditation and breathing exercises keep me calm and centered.
Now, I want to bring my HbA1c back below 6.5 and stop all diabetes medications. I have asked the FFD team for help staying on track and plan to stick with the program for a full year.
This journey has not been easy, but I am Committed—and Confident—I all get there.
