My Diabetes Story
Since both my parents were diabetic, we always had a glucometer at home. One day, When I was 33 (I am 63 now).
A random impulse led me to check my blood sugar two hours after lunch — and to my surprise, it read 220 mg/dL.
Concerned, I visited a diabetes clinic and underwent a Glucose Tolerance Test (GTT), which showed a value of 172 mg/dL.
The doctor diagnosed me as pre-diabetic, and that marked the beginning of my journey with diabetes management.
Over time, I began noticing symptoms like general fatigue, Occasional blurry vision, And frequent fungal infections — Signs that the condition was quietly taking its toll.
How was FFD introduced, and what made me choose FFD?
I first encountered Freedom From Diabetes in 2018 when my wife and I attended a talk by Dr. Pramod Tripathi in Mumbai.
I was already following principles from Dr. Gabriel Cousens' book There Is a Cure for Diabetes.
Being frugal, I told my wife I would try managing my diabetes on my own for three months—if my sugars did not improve, we would join FFD.
After three months, my post-lunch sugar was still 199 mg/dL, so we joined FFD’s seven-day program TRP at The Hidden Oasis in Pune.
It was transformative — By the final day, my readings had dropped significantly: Fasting – 108, PP1 – 109, PP2 – 113, PP3 – 132 mg/dL.
But setbacks followed. COVID in 2021 and dengue in 2022 spiked my sugar levels. I neglected regular monitoring, and by July 2024, a fungal infection led to a shocking fasting reading of 280 mg/dL.
Despite revisiting the FFD protocol, My sugars only dropped to 210 mg/dL by October.
That’s when I decided to fully recommit and rejoin FFD with the 112th Batch of HTP.
Reversal Story
The FFD team performed a detailed study of my case and designed a tailor-made plan. As I began following it, I started seeing positive results.
After six months on the program (October 2024 to May 2025), My health markers have improved significantly:
1. HbA1c dropped from 10.2% to 6.4% — Moving from poorly controlled diabetes to the prediabetic range
2. Average Blood Glucose reduced from 246 to 137 mg/dL
3. Fasting Insulin increased from <1 to 5.25 µU/mL — Back to a normal range
4. Vitamin B12 corrected from 152 to 338 pg/mL
5. Testosterone improved slightly from 270 to 296 ng/dL
6. HDL/LDL Ratio improved from 0.35 to 0.39
7. Triglyceride/HDL Ratio dropped from 4.89 to 3.79 — Indicating reduced cardiovascular risk
8. Triglycerides came down from 217 to 152 mg/dL
9. LDL Cholesterol lowered from 125 to 102 mg/dL
10. Non-HDL Cholesterol improved from 172.5 to 124.2 mg/dL
11. Indirect Bilirubin normalized from 1.05 to 0.52 mg/dL
12. SGOT/SGPT Ratio improved from 3.61 to 3.0
Additional markers — including MCHC, RDW-SD, lymphocytes, creatinine, uric acid, and transferrin saturation — also showed noticeable improvements or returned to normal.
I was always of low BMI, But with FFD treatment, there has been a good muscle gain of 3.7 kg from 60 kg to 63.7 kg.
I feel 10 years younger, Which is great.
Whether online or offline, Your team has delivered results both times I have joined. And I still have another six months to go this time.
And I have told my doctor at FFD
Next target is HbA1c 5.4 AND the next target after achieving this - is to stay there for life.
With FFD's guidance - I commit myself to do whatever it takes and how much ever time required to achieve this goal.
