My Diabetes Story

My diabetes diagnosis in 2018 came as a shock. Despite feeling normal, a routine check-up revealed my HbA1c was 10.2 and cholesterol nearly 300.

I had noticed increased hunger and some weight loss a month prior but had not worried.

Though my maternal grandfather and uncle had diabetes, my immediate family showed no strong trends.

I believe chronic stress from 18-20 years of U.S. shifts and an erratic eating schedule (often dinner at 10:30 p.m.) were major factors.

Even my consistent exercise since my twenties couldn't offset the long-term impact.

How was FFD introduced and what made me join it?

I had heard about Freedom from Diabetes (FFD) for a while but only truly engaged after seeing an online session (probably on Instagram or YouTube). That introductory session caught my interest, so I registered.

Right before joining, My HbA1c had unexpectedly gone up to 7.6, even though I had managed to get it down to 6.4–6.5 on my own.

Confused by the fluctuation, I decided to seek professional guidance and enrolled in FFD.

I was inspired by the success stories of Dr. Pramod Tripathi and thought—If others could reverse diabetes naturally, why not me?

I was on just 500 mg of metformin, having already made some progress, but I wanted complete freedom without the ups and downs.

My goal was lasting change through proper education and lifestyle.

Reversal Story

The FFD team studied my case in detail and designed a tailor-made plan.

Within just three weeks of joining FFD, I stopped metformin completely. My HbA1c is around 6.5–6.6 now, And I am working on improving it further.

Especially with food. I am consistent with exercise but do indulge occasionally, Which affects my numbers.

Though I have not been regular with Inner Transformation sessions, I understand their value. I meditate off and on and might start journaling soon.

Currently I am actively into gymming 4-5 days a week, and 1 day of long cardio which is cycling around 20 km.

Not sure whether current athletic identity can be considered gymming or cycling? Though in the long run I definitely want it to be cycling

Being part of the FFD Legends Group has truly inspired me. Seeing others, like 72-year-old Mr. Thomas, motivated me to push beyond my limits.
