My Diabetes Story
My blood sugar levels were only borderline, but I knew I had to act early. Diabetes runs in my family, both my parents, siblings, and even my niece are battling complications.
One sister is preparing for a kidney transplant. I didn’t want to follow the same path.
Initially, I had no obvious symptoms, but a test at the start of the FFD program revealed something I hadn’t expected; my eGFR was low, and my creatinine levels were slightly elevated.

I didn’t wait immediately called and registered. I told myself, “Even if I’m borderline, I want full freedom from diabetes.” That decision changed everything.

Reversal Journey
When I joined, my HbA1c was 7.9 and I weighed around 75–76 kg. I was briefly put on diabetes tablets, but after one week of logging my blood sugar readings, my doctor stopped all medications.
My kidney markers began improving too, my eGFR rose from 68.59 to 108.
Today, I weigh 65 kg and feel more energetic than ever. My swelling, fatigue, and heaviness are gone. I can now work through the day even without my afternoon nap.
Athletic Identity
Yoga has become my identity. I practice it daily through FFD sessions, along with Surya Namaskars guided by Dr. Tripathi. I walk regularly and enjoy staying active. It keeps me grounded, centered, and fit.
Current Lifestyle & Reflection
Earlier, I needed rest after just an hour of work. Now, I go through my day without fatigue. My boutique work, home responsibilities, and health all coexist in balance.
My diet was tailored for kidney healthI avoided chana, rajma, sprouts, and had spinach and smoothies only occasionally. The FFD food protocol suited me perfectly.
Today, people compliment me“You’ve become so slim!” I feel light, alert, and confident. My eldest son, seeing my transformation, lost 30 kg on his own. That’s how powerful this change has been.
Inner Transformation
Though I didn’t formally attend IT sessions or practice journaling or meditation, the structure and discipline of FFD helped me reset emotionally and mentally. I became more aware of my body and more intentional about my choices.
