My Story
My diagnosis came in 2005 during a mandatory health check-up at Ruby Hall Clinic, Pune. I was told I was on the borderline. A year later, after developing a boil, tests confirmed I had diabetes. Interestingly, I was the first in my family there was no history of diabetes at all.
How FFD Was Introduced to Me
Being a long-time follower of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and part of the Art of Living movement, I first heard about Dr. Pramod Tripathi through Gurudev himself. Later in 2018, I attended a special FFD program at the Art of Living Ashram, Bangalore. That was the turning point I realized diabetes reversal was possible, not just management.
Reversal Story
I joined the FFD Transcendental Residential Program (TRP) and saw my life change rapidly. Within a couple of months, I lost 13 kg. My weight dropped from ~76 kg to the low 60s, forcing me to change my wardrobe! My HbA1c, once 9.0, came down to 6.3 and stayed around 6.0 for a long time.
There were moments when people said, “You’re losing too much weight!” but with FFD’s guidance, I stayed confident that I was healing.
However, with frequent travel and moments of less discipline, my HbA1c later fluctuated back to ~7.5–7.7, and weight returned to ~70+ kg. But the biggest gain is that now I know exactly what to do to get back on track.
Athletic Identity
About two years ago, Dr. Tripathi advised me to pick a professional form of exercise gym, running, or cycling. I chose cycling, and it transformed me. I have cycled from Pune to Mumbai twice and will soon embark on a 700 km Rajasthan expedition. Cycling gives me energy, discipline, and joy.
Current Lifestyle & Reflection
Today, I combine cycling with yoga, Padma Sadhana, and Sudarshan Kriya practices that keep me balanced both physically and spiritually. My journey taught me one thing: discipline brings transformation, and when I follow FFD protocols sincerely, I achieve the best results.
