My Diabetes Story - My Unexpected Diabetes Diagnosis

My diabetes journey began unexpectedly in 2013–14 during a routine check-up while I was working at Reliance. With no symptoms, I was shocked to see my HbA1c at 10.8 and post-meal sugar at 234 mg/dL.

Though diabetes ran in my family, I didn’t expect it to hit me so silently.

At first, I tried managing it by avoiding sugar and milk, But that wasn’t enough. I was prescribed half a tablet daily, But my health showed little improvement.

How was FFD introduced and what made me join it?

My real transformation began in November 2017 when my colleague, Mr. Pradeep Hirlekar, Introduced me to Freedom From Diabetes (FFD). He followed the FFD protocol and shared his amazing experience, Which encouraged me to attend a session by Dr. Pramod Tripathi at Malad, Mumbai.

I was deeply impressed by Dr. Tripathi’s clarity and insights—it was a true turning point in my health journey.

Reversal Story

Motivated by Dr. Tripathi’s session, I immediately adopted FFD’s protocols—Diet, Exercise, and Simple Meditation. In just 3–4 days, I stopped my diabetes medicine, and my sugars remained stable.

I embraced green smoothies and high-protein foods and gave up dairy and sugar. My wife supported me with healthy meals like jowar and bajra bhakris.

I cleared the GTT twice, and my HbA1c dropped from 10.8 to 5.8, now steady around 6.1–6.2—all medicine-free.

Though I didn’t join Inner Transformation sessions, I used light music to relax and sleep early, which helped immensely.

Today, I run 100+ miles regularly and have completed several 161 km ultramarathons, Including a podium finish in the 122 km Ladakh Silk Route run. 72KM Khardungla Challenge, Two podiums in 161KM Hell Race.

With Clean Eating and Discipline, I now live a Vibrant, Athletic, Medicine-Free Life.
