My Diabetes Story
Fifteen years ago, I started experiencing unusual symptoms—Persistent weakness, Excessive hunger, and An Overwhelming need for sleep. At first, I didn’t think it was anything serious, But as these symptoms continued, I decided to seek medical advice. That’s when I was diagnosed with diabetes.
Unlike many others, I had no family history of the condition, So the diagnosis came as a complete surprise. Over time, diabetes started taking a toll on my body, causing weight loss and increasing both my physical and emotional distress.
How was FFD introduced?
As the years passed, managing diabetes became a crucial part of my life. Then, a turning point came when a friend and a senior officer introduced me to the Freedom From Diabetes (FFD) program.
Intrigued by its holistic approach, which focused on lifestyle changes rather than relying on medication, I decided to join the annual program HTP.

Reversal Story
When I started with FFD, My HbA1c levels were alarmingly high at 9.6. However, Through the program’s structured lifestyle modifications, I saw remarkable progress, Bringing my HbA1c down to 5.7. While this was a significant achievement, I acknowledged that I was still on medication, Albeit at a reduced dosage.
My lifestyle transformation included Mindful Eating, Fasting, and Exercise. Initially weighing 64 kg, My participation in fasting programs led to fluctuations in my weight, Which eventually stabilized at 63 kilograms.
However, My journey was not without its challenges. Being a businessman, I found it difficult to adhere to the program’s protocols strictly. The stress from work and responsibilities made it hard to maintain a completely tension-free life, Which affected my consistency.
Although I attended Inner Transformation sessions, Practiced Yoga, And performed Pranayama regularly, I struggled to follow the regimen with full dedication, leading to varying results.
To enhance my physical health, I also joined a gym and began working on muscle gain. However, an injury to my arm temporarily halted my progress. Despite this setback, I remained determined and planned to ease back into weight training gradually.
