My Diabetes Story
My diabetes journey began unexpectedly back in 2008. I had fallen ill due to a viral infection and was later diagnosed with thyroid issues and diabetes during treatment.
I was around 44 years old then and started on medicines immediately. Both my mother-in-law and mother had diabetes too so I knew it ran in the family.

In 2020, I even suffered a paralytic attack, which made me more fearful about my health. But despite the medications, I never felt truly well.

How I Came to Know About FFD
I first heard about Freedom From Diabetes (FFD) from a local awareness program by Dr. Ubhare Hande.

What Made Me Choose FFD
After nearly two decades of living with medicines, I just wanted freedom from pills, constant sugar checks, and fear.
I joined the Holistic Transformation Program (HTP) hoping to live a healthy, medicine-free life.

My Reversal Journey
Within just one month, my doctor stopped all my diabetes medicines. My HbA1c dropped from 7.0 to 5.9, and my energy levels soared.
Through juice feasting, sugar fasting, and disciplined meals, I started losing weight steadily, a total of 19 kg over time! From 70 kg, I came down to 51 kg.
Even during special fasting periods like Navratri, I continued the lifestyle having cucumber smoothies, soups, and vegetable meals as taught by FFD.

My athletic identity is Yoga. I regularly do Surya Namaskar, Sudarshan Kriya, and follow FFD exercise videos with dumbbells and resistance training.
I love how these practices keep both my body and mind strong.

On some days, I spend two full hours on yoga and meditation and it gives me deep joy and balance.

Through FFD, I also discovered the importance of inner transformation. I attended sessions by Dr. Pramod Tripathi and practiced Sudarshan Kriya and Living in the Present sessions daily.

Even though language sometimes felt like a barrier (sessions were in Hindi/English), I never gave up. I followed along and absorbed what I could and that made all the difference.
Current Lifestyle & Reflection
Today, I live a completely new life;

- Do yoga and meditation daily
I’ve learned how to control my sugar levels naturally and live without fear. My family and doctors are amazed at how well I’ve maintained myself at 61.
