My Diabetes Story

I come from a family with a strong history of diabetes, so deep down, I always knew I might face it one day. Still, like many working professionals, I ignored the warning signs.

During annual checkups, my sugar levels were steadily rising, but I kept brushing them aside. About 4–5 years ago, they started creeping up more noticeably, yet I didn’t take them seriously.

Then, around September or October last year, everything changed. My HbA1c shot up to 9.4, and I began to feel it—chronic fatigue, frequent headaches, leg pain, disturbed sleep, and digestive issues.

Yes — it’s true. Within just two weeks of joining FFD, I was completely off all diabetes medications. That still amazes me. And the best part? My latest HbA1c, checked just a few days ago, is down to 5.5–5.6.

Before joining FFD, My weight had shot up to 82.5 kg. I struggled with unhealthy eating habits — sugary tea, high-carb meals without fiber, late dinners, poor sleep, and chronic stress.
