My Diabetes Story 

My diabetes journey began around 12–13 years ago with mild symptoms like sleeplessness and excessive thirst.

Concerned, I spoke to my wife, who’s a doctor, and got tested — The results confirmed diabetes with high sugar levels right from the start.
 
I was started on a small dose of Metformin and made lifestyle changes, including regular walks for nearly an hour, 5–6 days a week.

Despite these efforts, My sugar levels didn’t improve much.

Over the years, my medication kept increasing, and even after 7–8 years, I couldn’t reduce my dependency on medicines or lose significant weight.
 

How was FFD introduced, and what made me join it?

The turning point came when I discovered Dr. Pramod Tripathi’s Freedom from Diabetes (FFD) program through social media.

My interest grew after meeting Mr. S. Boruah from Guwahati at a hospital, who shared his positive FFD experience.

Worried that I might soon need insulin, I decided to give FFD a try as a hopeful last resort.

Reversal Story 

I joined FFD with an HbA1c of 7.6%, Which had stayed the same for 7–8 years — Never very high, But always above normal. Within just six weeks, My medicines were significantly reduced.

I strictly followed the FFD protocols — Clean diet, regular workouts, and full commitment. I lost about 6 kg, Going from 68–69 kg to 61–62 kg, And even began strength training.
 
Three months in, I developed sciatica due to a bulging disc and had to pause workouts for a couple of months.

But I didn’t give up. I switched to core exercises as advised by the FFD team and stayed in regular touch with my doctor and dietitian.

My diet discipline stayed strong, and despite reduced physical activity, I managed to control my sugars. My latest HbA1c came down to 6.2% from 6.8%.
 
I truly believe I could have become completely medicine-free by now if not for the sciatica.

Still, I find the FFD program fantastic—it taught me what no regular doctor ever did, especially about nutrition and balancing 25% carbs with 75% protein.

My lifestyle and eating habits have changed for the better.
 
I do wish I had joined FFD 6–7 years earlier, but I am fully committed now. Despite a packed work schedule, I try to stick to the protocols.

I have not yet attended the inner transformation sessions but practice meditation occasionally when I can.
 
Today, I feel physically fit, mentally focused, and have reduced belly fat. My liver health has improved too—from Grade 2 fatty liver to almost normal, confirmed at Dr. Mohan’s clinic in Chennai.
