My Diabetes Story
My diabetes journey began in 2008 during a routine check-up. With a strong family history—both my parents and grandmothers had diabetes—I wasn’t entirely surprised, but complications soon followed.
The worst was peripheral neuropathy, which caused severe foot pain and numbness, especially at night, making sleep difficult.

Though diagnosed with neuropathy in 2012, symptoms had started much earlier. In search of relief, I turned to a naturopath who used acupuncture and gradually took me off allopathic medications, including thyroid medicine. I initially felt better, but it didn’t last.
By March last year, I began feeling dizzy after meals—first occasionally, then daily. Tests revealed my HbA1c had spiked to 8.9 and TSH to 29, indicating severe hypothyroidism.
I had lost weight, energy, and vitality—I felt like a walking dead body. That was my turning point. I stopped all unmonitored treatments and decided it was time to reclaim my health.

How was FFD introduced, and what led me to choose it?
My husband was enrolled in a different program at Sugar. Fit, suggested that I check out FFD. I had been following Dr. Pramod Tripathi on Facebook for about two years by then.
Although I was initially hesitant, something about his approach felt genuine and trustworthy. In 2023, I finally leaped and joined FFD—and I am so glad I did.

Reversal Story
The FFD team performed a detailed study of my case and designed a tailor-made plan.
The results were swift and life-changing. My HbA1c dropped from 8.9 to 5.8, and my TSH came down to 2.4, bringing my thyroid levels back to normal.
Most significantly, my neuropathy pain reduced drastically, thanks to improved sugar control, a clean diet, FFD’s guidance, and regular physiotherapy.

I have followed everything with complete discipline—diet, exercise, and my doctor’s advice.
When I joined FFD, I weighed 63 kg. With a target of 60 kg for my height (5'4"), I went even further—dropping to 56 kg after completing the Fast for Freedom in March, and even touching 55 kg. Now, I comfortably maintain 57–58 kg and feel great.

My transformation was not just physical. Emotionally and spiritually, I have always been a positive person.
Painting has been my healing outlet, and I also practice spiritual meditation with my guru, which keeps me mentally balanced.
While I attended FFD’s inner transformation sessions, I felt my practices already kept me grounded.

As for athletic identity, I haven't picked one officially, though I’ve moved on to more advanced exercises. I’m considering swimming, though the rains have interrupted my routine lately.
Thanks to all the experts for their invaluable contribution to my journey.
