My Story Before FFD

Health challenges for me began with thyroid, which soon turned into pre-diabetes. With a strong family history of both thyroid and diabetes, I knew I was at high risk.

I experienced weakness, lethargy, hair fall, and weight-related problems. Doctors advised me to start diabetes medicines, but I was determined I would manage this without medicines.

For thyroid, I was prescribed 88 mg, which later increased. Even so, I wanted to focus on what I could change naturally.

How FFD Came Into My Life

Scrolling Instagram one day, I came across an ad for DRS. That’s how I first got introduced to Freedom from Diabetes (FFD) and Dr. Pramod Tripathi.

His scientific explanation and confidence in reversal were unlike anything I had seen before. For the first time, I felt reversal was truly possible.

That’s when I joined FFD with the twin goals of reversing pre-diabetes and improving thyroid health.

Reversal Journey

At joining, my HbA1c was 6.6. With FFD protocols, I brought it down to 5.7. Later, due to frequent travel and outside food, it went up to 6.2 but the best part is, I successfully cleared my GTT!

This achievement gave me tremendous confidence. Despite a family history, I’ve never needed diabetes medicines till date.

Along with sugar control, my energy levels improved, my skin looked better, and I felt more alive than before.

Weight Journey

My journey was unique. I wasn’t overweight, I was 50 kg when I joined. With smoothies, salads, and vegan dietary changes, I lost weight too quickly and dropped to 45 kg, which made me look weak.

With the right guidance from my diet expert, I adjusted nutrition, gained back healthy weight, and stabilized at 49 kg. Unlike most, my focus was on weight gain, not loss and I achieved it.

Athletic Identity

One of the biggest transformations I experienced was in stamina. Earlier, even walking long distances caused leg pain. Today, I proudly call myself a trekker.

I completed the Everest Base Camp (EBC) trek, where I was recognized as the best performer in my group. Walking in snow, trekking with energy, and feeling unstoppable it was a dream come true.

Just 10 days later, I was already preparing for my next big adventure, the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. Apart from trekking, I enjoy weightlifting and share workout videos in my group.

This was a version of me I never imagined existed.

Inner Transformation Experience

I attended 3–4 Inner Transformation sessions with Paramita Chakraborty ma’am, which helped me manage stress better.

Her advice stays with me even today: “Don’t pay too much attention, don’t take unnecessary stress.”

Although I’m not very consistent with meditation now, those sessions gave me strength and balance during tough times.

Current Lifestyle & Reflection

Today, I live with higher energy, inner strength, and confidence. My appearance and skin health have improved, and most importantly, I’ve proven to myself that I’m capable of much more than I thought.

My HbA1c is under control, my GTT is clear, my stamina is stronger than ever, and I’ve found my passion for trekking.
