Though it was the first time I saw this number, I suspected it had been there for some time. Since it wasn’t high enough for medication, my doctor advised lifestyle changes.
I had always known I was at risk because my father was diabetic, and on top of that, I had been living with thyroid issues since 1997 when my TSH once touched 35.7.

Joining FFD marked the start of a complete transformation. In just three months, I lost 11 kg and 4 inches, bringing me back to 56 kg, my healthiest weight. My HbA1c dropped to 6.2, achieved without ever starting diabetes medication. Even my thyroid, which had shown fluctuations earlier, stabilised naturally, with my TSH levels returning to normal.

Discovering My Athletic Identity
I’ve always been active. In fact, even before FFD, I had completed a 100-mile trek from Mumbai to Pune. But after joining, I incorporated gym workouts into my weekly routine, something I’d never done before.

Current Lifestyle & Reflection
Though my official one-year program has ended, the FFD lifestyle remains my way of life. I still follow conscious eating, regular exercise, and yoga every day.
