My Diabetes Story

I discovered I was in the pre-diabetic range during a routine health check-up about three to four years ago (2021). I wasn’t showing typical symptoms, but I was caught between pre-diabetes and perimenopause—struggling with joint pain, tingling, fatigue, and mental fog that made daily life hard.

Even though my mother had diabetes, I never thought it would affect me this early. I felt constantly drained, achy, and unlike myself, but test results often came back normal. My high-stress IT job, with irregular hours and poor sleep, only worsened things.

Before joining FFD, I tried keto, calorie-deficit diets, swimming, and even supplements like Vitamin D and B12. But nothing brought lasting relief. The efforts felt endless, and yet the exhaustion never left. It was deeply frustrating.

How was FFD introduced and what made me choose it?

My turning point came when I saw an Instagram ad for FFD and, around the same time, a colleague shared her positive experience with the program. I was skeptical at first—especially after my rough experience with the keto diet, Which had affected my skin and overall health. Still, I decided to give FFD a try and enrolled in the annual program HTP. That decision turned out to be truly transformative.

Reversal Story

The FFD team performed a detailed study of my case and designed a tailor-made plan. After joining FFD, I experienced a powerful shift. One of my biggest breakthroughs was losing 10–12 kg—going from 69–70 kg to a steady 56–57 kg.

This was thanks to structured dietary changes, Intermittent fasting, And adding strength training to my routine. What stood out was the clarity FFD gave me—on Nutrition, Workouts, and Building a Sustainable Lifestyle.

My HbA1c dropped from 6.7 to 5.7, and I finally felt in control of my health. From barely being able to move due to joint pain, I’ve made incredible progress. I’ve always loved swimming, But where I once struggled to swim 300 meters in an hour, I can now do 1800 meters easily.

I even completed two treks—something I never imagined I could do before. Trekking once felt impossible, but after FFD, I felt empowered enough to take on the challenge—and succeed.

Though I couldn’t dive deep into FFD’s Inner transformation sessions due to time constraints, Swimming became my form of meditation. My workplace also offered wellness sessions, Which I made use of when needed.

My journey has been about Balancing work, Health, and Hormonal shifts.

As I approach menopause, I’ve learned to listen to my body—Not fight its changes but flow with them. Strength training, I now realize, isn’t just a trend—it’s necessary.  Most importantly, I’ve learned to respect my body and keep moving forward.
