Hello everyone,
My name is Mukesh Kumar. I am an IT professional from Ghaziabad. I was diagnosed with diabetes three years ago during a routine health checkup, with an HbA1c of 7.2. Though I had no visible symptoms, I knew I wanted to take charge of my health before diabetes progressed further.
Today, my HbA1c is 5.8, my energy levels have improved, and I have gained a much deeper understanding of my body and lifestyle.

Key Takeaways
  • Reduced HbA1c from 7.2 to 5.8 in 7 months
  • Transitioned from Metformin 1000 mg/day in 5 months to only a 10 mg medicine prescribed for cardiac health
  • Experienced major improvement in health and energy during the first 3 months
  • Continues daily walking and FFD-prescribed exercises
  • Learned the importance of structured support, consistency, and accountability

My Diabetes Story

My diabetes was diagnosed about three years ago during a routine health checkup.

There were no major symptoms at that time, which is why the diagnosis came as a surprise.

My HbA1c was 7.2, and since my mother also has diabetes, I knew there was a family history involved.

Initially, I was prescribed Metformin 500 mg twice a day, totaling 1000 mg daily.

Like many people, my first instinct was simple: I wanted to get rid of diabetes and avoid long-term medication dependency.

How Was FFD Introduced and What Made Me Choose It?

I got to know about Freedom From Diabetes through a friend.

The reason I joined directly after the Discover Reversal Session was straightforward.

I wanted to reverse my condition and improve my overall health.

As an IT professional, I’ve always believed in structured systems, processes, and expert guidance.

FFD seemed like a comprehensive platform that addressed not just sugar levels, but lifestyle, food habits, exercise, and overall well being.

That’s what made me take the step.

My Reversal Journey with FFD

During the initial phase of the program, I saw strong improvements.

Within the first 3 months, my energy levels improved significantly, and I felt much better overall.

My health markers started improving, and I developed more awareness around my daily routine.

Eventually, my Metformin was discontinued, and I am no longer taking diabetes medication.

Currently, I only take a 10 mg medicine prescribed by my cardiologist, not specifically for diabetes, but because it supports my cardiac health as well.

My current HbA1c is 5.8.

The biggest learning for me was understanding that diabetes management is not just about food it is about sustained motivation, accountability, and disciplined habits.

I believe structured support and regular accountability are extremely important, especially for professionals with busy lives and many responsibilities.

In the beginning, I was highly motivated and saw great results.

But over time, maintaining the same level of momentum became harder without regular follow-ups and external push.

My Current Lifestyle & Fitness Routine

Even today, I continue following many practices I learned during the program.

My current routine includes:
  • Walking 2 km daily
  • Practicing exercises recommended by Dr. Pramod Tripathi
  • Park workouts and mobility routines
  • Maintaining food discipline as much as possible
I avoid gym-based workouts because of past injuries and instead prefer sustainable exercises that suit my body and lifestyle.

I also attend a 10-day Vipassana meditation camp every year, which helps me stay mentally balanced and emotionally grounded.

Inner Transformation & Learnings

I did take one session with the psychology team during a stressful phase when my fasting sugar unexpectedly rose to 286.

That conversation helped me understand the role of stress in sugar fluctuations.

Though I already practice meditation, holistic health, and self-awareness through Vipassana and spiritual routines, the session reinforced how deeply stress and health are interconnected.

My Experience with FFD

FFD is a good program with strong scientific foundations and genuine success stories.

The biggest strength of the program is its methodology and the credibility built through real results.

What impressed me most was Dr. Pramod Tripathi’s success stories and practical approach to diabetes reversal.

As someone from the IT industry, I strongly feel that working professionals especially need more structured accountability and regular follow-up support to stay consistent.

But overall, the program helped me improve my HbA1c, gain better awareness, and build healthier habits.

My Athletic Identity

I enjoy:
  • Daily walking
  • Park workouts
  • Functional exercises
  • Mind-body discipline through meditation and Vipassana
My focus is sustainable health, consistency, and long-term fitness rather than aggressive transformations.
