My Diabetes Story
My diagnosis came when I started experiencing frequent urination. I got my sugar checked and discovered I had diabetes. With both my parents diabetic, I wasn’t completely shocked but it did worry me.
After the diagnosis, I also developed hypertension. I strongly believe stress played a big part in both.

In my heart, I knew I wanted to reverse this. If I reduced my disease burden, I’d have more energy, more clarity, and more to give to my family and myself.
How FFD Came into My Life
It was my brother, Prathamesh Gurgute, who introduced me to FFD after he learned about it from a friend. Seeing his conviction and progress inspired me to explore it for myself.My Reversal Journey
When I joined FFD, my HbA1c was 7.5. Just 8 to 10 days into the program, I was off my diabetes medication. Eventually, my HbA1c dropped to a non-diabetic 5.6.Even before joining FFD fully, I was aware that losing weight could improve my health. I watched my brother start first and followed after settling into a new home.
Once I began, I slowly and steadily dropped about 10–12 kg, going from around 70–75 kg to 57 kg. That weight loss gave me the physical lightness and mental clarity I hadn’t felt in years.

Energy, Nutrition & Confidence Boost
Before FFD, I didn’t even know I had deficiencies like low calcium and B12. I felt dull, lethargic, and just... not myself. Now, I feel vibrant. More energetic. More alive. Not having to remember medicines anymore lifted a huge burden from my mind.
Blood Pressure: Still a Work in Progress
I was on 2.5 mg of BP medicine. After joining FFD, it almost stopped. I still monitor it, and I’m confident I’ll be able to go completely off it soon.
Inner Work & Stress Management
I didn’t do one-on-one counseling, but I found the FFD Inner Transformation videos very helpful. I’ve also been meditating on and off for years, especially after my second child was born, when life became overwhelming.I’d lost touch with my meditation practice for a while, but FFD helped me reconnect with it. And that, I believe, helped me stabilize both physically and emotionally.
Athletic Identity – Yoga Is My Anchor
Yoga is my go-to. I even did Surya Namaskars for 51 consecutive days! While FFD’s exercise routines helped me explore gym, Zumba, cycling, and walking, it was yoga that truly clicked with me. I find joy and peace on the mat.
Current Lifestyle & Reflections
FFD has transformed my lifestyle. I’ve stopped seeing food as just comfort and started understanding what my body truly needs.
The weekly lectures keep me motivated even when I feel tired or distracted, one session is enough to bring me back on track.
