My Health Story
My weight gain happened gradually over many years.
After pregnancy, I never really lost the extra weight completely, and over time it just kept piling up slowly.
Like many people, I knew the basics: eat healthy, exercise, stay disciplined.
But despite knowing all this, I found it difficult to maintain consistency for the long term.
I would start something, lose some weight, and then struggle to sustain it.
Eventually, I realized what I needed was not more information, I needed structure and clarity.
How was FFD introduced and what made me choose it?
A neighbor introduced me to Freedom From Diabetes after seeing positive results in her husband’s health journey.
Around the same time, I also started seeing Dr. Malhar’s videos on Instagram, which further motivated me to join the Discover Reversal Session.
Before officially joining FFD, I had already started my weight loss journey on my own and reduced my weight from 86 kg to around 79 kg.
But after that, my progress plateaued.

After joining FFD, my weight reduced further from around 79 kg to nearly 71 kg.
Currently, I maintain around 72 kg, and my focus has now shifted more toward strength gain rather than only weight loss.
Along with weight reduction, my HbA1c also improved from 5.6 to 5.2.
One of the biggest things that helped me during this journey was the Fast for Freedom challenge.
I had done short fasts earlier too, but doing a structured 9-day fasting challenge alongside a motivated community made a huge difference.
Watching others share their struggles and progress kept me inspired and accountable.
Inner Transformation & Emotional Learning
I also attended a one-on-one session with the Inner Transformation expert, Udita Ma’am.
That session gave me a completely different perspective on emotions.
One of the most valuable learnings for me was understanding and categorizing emotions better instead of feeling overwhelmed by them.
That emotional awareness helped me cope with situations much more calmly and consciously.
Apart from that, I continue practicing journaling, breathing techniques, and my own meditation practices regularly.
These habits have helped me maintain better emotional balance and mental clarity.
Athletic Identity
Fitness has always been something I enjoyed, especially gym workouts. But somewhere along life’s journey, I had stopped prioritizing it.
Through FFD, I rediscovered my love for the gym and started enjoying workouts again.
Today, my routine includes gym workouts, walking, and some yoga practices.
Although Surya Namaskars are not something I personally enjoy, strength training and gym workouts have become an important part of my lifestyle again.
Right now, my goal is not just losing weight, it is becoming stronger and fitter sustainably.
