My Diabetes Story
About 10–12 years ago, I was struggling with a frozen shoulder that wouldn’t heal despite medicines. A routine blood test revealed I had diabetes, a shock, though both my parents had it.Over the years, symptoms like weakness, lack of enthusiasm, sleep apnea, and frequent urination became part of my life.
My creatinine stayed at 0.8–0.9 for years but suddenly rose to 1.0, raising concerns about kidney damage from medication.
My HbA1c once touched 10, and even after taking 4 high-dose tablets daily, it stayed around 7.2–7.3. My doctor even added an extra tablet in the afternoon, and I feared insulin would be next.
