My Diabetes Story

I was diagnosed with diabetes over a decade ago. Initially, symptoms like sore throat, weakness, and weight changes led to further testing.

Over time, my condition progressed, and insulin was introduced into my routine.

Injecting insulin daily was emotionally exhausting. In society, insulin dependency still carries a sense of stigma.

I wanted to free myself from that burden.

How FFD Was Introduced & Why I Chose It

I learned about FFD through my brother and later attended Dr. Pramod Tripathi’s session. The idea that insulin dependency could be reduced and even stopped gave me hope.

My clear goal at joining: Reduce insulin and regain control over my health.

My Reversal Journey

At the start, I was taking around 16 units of insulin daily.

Through consistent dietary changes, medical guidance, and follow-ups, my dosage gradually reduced and eventually, insulin was stopped completely.

My HbA1c showed progressive improvement, it dipped down from 7.3 to 6.6; even though occasional family events caused fluctuations, overall control became significantly better.

My weight reduced steadily from 57 kg to nearly 51.5 kg, without unhealthy weakness.

My kidney reports and cholesterol ratios also improved over time.

Dietary Transformation

One of my biggest shifts was giving up milk and milk-based tea, a deep-rooted habit in Indian households.

I adapted to black tea, green tea, and black coffee. I also reduced rice portions and made mindful food choices.

These changes were challenging initially, but I gradually built consistency.

Exercise & Physical Activity

I stay active through resistance bands, dumbbells, stretching, and light yoga when possible.

Regular movement has helped me maintain strength, energy, and confidence.

Inner Transformation & Reflection

Balancing a working woman’s schedule with lifestyle changes was not easy.

But once insulin stopped, the emotional relief was immense.

Insulin dependency is mentally traumatic. Becoming free from it gave me confidence and renewed belief in myself.

Current Lifestyle & Reflection

Today, I feel energetic, more relaxed, and in control of my health.

My journey is still ongoing but I have already crossed the biggest milestone: Freedom from insulin.

Key Quote
