My Diabetes Story
My diabetes journey began quietly around 2012–2013. Apart from itching in my private parts, I had no major symptoms. But a sugar test confirmed the diagnosis. It was a silent shift, but one that changed everything.
My mother has had diabetes for several years, and my maternal grandfather too, so I knew there was some hereditary link.
Yet, I had no idea that one day I too would be facing this condition.

How I Found FFD
A friend told me about FFD’s success in helping people reverse diabetes. I started watching their videos and reading more of the stories that felt real, and they gave me hope. So, I joined the Discover Reversal Session (DRS) program on 15th April 2024.

Reversal Story
When I joined, my HbA1c was 7.6. Naturally, I was anxious. But by following the FFD protocol sincerely, I went medicine-free by 23rd or 24th May 2024 just over a month later!
My HbA1c later dropped to 6.4, and I’m due for another test soon.
Physical Strength & Fitness
- One of my proudest achievements is my physical transformation:
- I started lifting weights and regained strength
- I now do 108 Surya Namaskars once a month
- I do 108 squats 2–3 times a week
- Yoga is now my athletic identity, and I feel stronger than ever at 60.

- Dropped to: 47–48 kg (after fasting)

My FFD dietitian guided me to pause fasting temporarily and helped me regain a healthier balance.
Inner Transformation
I did take part in an evaluation with an FFD psychologist who assured me that I didn’t need deep therapy. I was mentally strong.
I practice meditation occasionally, especially during stress. It helps calm my mind, though I’m not regular with journaling or other IT tools.

Current Lifestyle
I live with energy and clarity. My body is lighter, my mind calmer, and I feel in full control of my health. I continue my daily yoga, mindful eating, and purposeful living.
