Hello,
I'm Jacob Guite from Aizawl. After 14 years of battling diabetes and insulin dependency, I finally found my path to freedom thanks to FFD. Here's how my journey unfolded.

Key Takeaways
  • 25–30 units of insulin stopped in just 1 month
  • HbA1c reduced from 7.6% to 5.4% (lowest: 4.1%)
  • Weight loss of over 13 kg (from 93.1 kg to 80 kg)
  • GTT cleared
  • Kidney and cholesterol health dramatically improved
  • Stopped medications or insulin for diabetes in 1 month

My Diabetes Story

I was diagnosed with diabetes around 2011. There were no routine check-ups, only persistent symptoms that wouldn’t go away. With no family history of diabetes, the diagnosis came as a surprise.

Over the years, I was prescribed insulin and tablets, but nothing worked consistently.

At one point, I was taking 25–30 units of insulin a day (16 in the evening, 12 in the morning), along with two tablets daily.

My HbA1c was stuck at 7.6%. I was frustrated with the endless cycle of “this medicine, that medicine,” without real progress.

How Was FFD Introduced and What Made Me Choose It?

I was searching online for better solutions and that’s when I found Dr. Pramod Tripathi and the FFD program. Season 1 came at the perfect time.

I joined, not knowing what to expect, but the impact was immediate Even though I didn’t follow every protocol perfectly, it still worked wonders for me.

Reversal Story

Within the first month of joining, I was completely off insulin and diabetes tablets.
  • My HbA1c improved from 7.6% to 5.4%, and at one point even touched 4.1%.
  • My GTT (Glucose Tolerance Test) was cleared in July, a huge personal win.
  • My eGFR improved from 77.22 to 91, creatinine normalized
  • Cholesterol dropped from 149 to 112.
  • LDL came down from 113 to 95 and VLDL from 35.8 to 19.
In terms of weight, I started at 93.1 kg, came down to 76 kg, and currently maintain around 80 kg due to travel and routine disruption.

Athletic Identity

I don’t consider myself athletic. I’m not someone who hits the gym or cycles long distances.

I just do light yoga, warm-ups, and a few resistance band exercises when I can.

My lifestyle doesn’t allow much more, but I make it work and it’s been enough.

Inner Transformation

I’ve never attended Inner Transformation (IT) sessions or practiced meditation.

But I’ve always had a relaxed, calm mindset that “chilled out” attitude probably helped in ways I didn’t realize.

Current Lifestyle & Reflection

Even with travel and occasional dietary slips, I stick to the basics, balanced diet and some movement.

That alone has helped me stay diabetes-free.

I live in a remote area where even diagnostic tests like GTT aren’t available easily.

But I made the effort to find better care. Now I know how to take care of myself, and if I ever slip, I know how to bounce back.
