My Diabetes Story
My diagnosis came about 10–12 years ago not through symptoms, but during a pre-surgery check-up. My father had diabetes, so the family history was there, but I never imagined I was at risk.
Looking back, I can now see how my lifestyle contributed no structured eating, snacking at odd times, and no real awareness about food.
Over time, my sugar levels rose silently. My highest HbA1c was 8, and I had reached 75 kg in weight, something I didn’t even notice until the number stared at me from the report. At 5’6”,
I was clearly overweight, and my health was trying to tell me something.
How I Found FFD?
I can’t recall a specific momentI think I stumbled upon it and said, “Let’s try and see.” That one small decision changed everything.

Reversal Journey So Far.
When I joined FFD, my HbA1c was already at 6.7, and I was on two medications.
Slowly, with the program’s help, I began to understand my body better. I started walking, followed the food protocols, and engaged with the expert team.
Today, one of my medicines has been stopped, and the other partially reduced. My most recent HbA1c is 6.4.
I feel I’m halfway through the reversal journey and I trust my doctor will soon decide if I can stop the remaining one as well.
One of the biggest wins? My weight dropped from 75 kg to 64 kg. That’s 11 kg gone! And yes, maintaining it is now my new challenge.
I’m doing strength training at home and following the FFD workout videos to build muscle and not let the weight creep back.
Emotional Healing with Inner Transformation
Alongside physical changes, emotional well-being has been a big part of this journey. I’ve faced ups and downs mentally, and I’m currently on antidepressants.
But I can say this confidently the Inner Transformation sessions helped me deeply.
Udita Ma’am’s sessions, especially on box breathing, helped me calm my mind. I’ve started journaling and meditating regularly.
There were days when my mood would dip, when the mind would race, but now, I feel balanced again. Life feels steady.
