My Diabetes Story

My diabetes was detected about a decade ago. It started with a severe headache, after which my physician recommended a sugar test. The results confirmed diabetes.

Although we have a family history of BP, diabetes wasn’t common in my family. Only my father developed it later in life.

Along with diabetes, I also had thyroid issues, underwent a hysterectomy, and experienced BP fluctuations during and after the surgery.

Life moved on, but the medications and fluctuations continued.

How FFD Was Introduced & What Made Me Choose It

One day while scrolling through reels, I came across Dr. Pramod Tripathi’s talk.

Something about the clarity, the confidence, and the science impressed me deeply.

So I decided to join FFD.

Reversal Story

When I joined FFD, I was taking 10 units of insulin daily.

Once I started following the protocols, my insulin requirement dropped completely; this was a huge moment for me.

I was progressing beautifully. My energy was good, I was disciplined, and I even reached the point where I could do 60 Surya Namaskars in one go.

But life had other plans.

Family responsibilities, my husband’s surgery, my father’s declining health everything came together at once.

Emotionally, I felt stretched from all sides. Slowly, I slipped from the routines.

Because of irregular food timings and emotional pressure, insulin had to be restarted 4 units/day.

And I want to say this openly: FFD was not the problem. The program is excellent. It was just my circumstances.

Yet, even during this difficult period, something remarkable happened, I remained emotionally stable.

I handled my husband’s surgery with calmness, something that the old me could never do. The meditation and inner transformation sessions helped me more than I can express.

I may not have followed everything perfectly, but I gained something far more important; emotional strength and clarity.

My HbA1c went from 10 to 7.5 at its lowest and is currently 8 and I know I can bring it down again once my life stabilizes.

My weight dropped to 52 kg and remains steady today.

Athletic Identity 

My athletic identity is a beautiful mix of yoga and walking.

I still walk at 5 km per hour, and yoga continues to be my grounding practice.

Even at 59, my knees are strong, I have good mobility, and I can go through my day without an afternoon nap, something that was not possible earlier.

Current Lifestyle & Reflection

Today, I feel emotionally stronger than ever before. My thinking has changed, I am calmer, more positive, and have learned to handle life with maturity. FFD has helped me overcome the feeling of loneliness. 

I still plan to rejoin and restart the program fully once my family responsibilities settle. The desire to complete my reversal journey is very much alive within me.

This journey has taught me that transformation is not just physical sometimes, the mind needs healing first.
