My Health & Pre-Diabetes Story

I discovered I was turning pre-diabetic during a routine annual cardiac check-up. My HbA1c was around 6.1–6.2.

Weight had always been my biggest struggle. Thyroid issues, heart medications, and repeated health setbacks made it extremely difficult to lose even a single kilo.

I couldn’t walk briskly due to palpitations, couldn’t go to the gym, and every attempt felt unsafe or unsustainable.

Over time, the stress of not losing weight made things worse.

How was FFD introduced and what made me choose it?

I came to know about FFD through my sister, Mrs. Radhika (USA), who had already completed the program. Initially, I was completely resistant.

Athletic Identity

Despite heart limitations:
  • 45-minute walks (~4500 steps)
  • Yoga regularly
  • Light resistance training with 2 kg dumbbells
I never imagined I would enjoy movement again but now it feels natural and empowering.

Current Lifestyle & Reflection

Today, I feel energetic, flexible, calm, and confident.

I meditate regularly, which helps me stay mentally balanced and composed. My stamina has improved, and I no longer feel tired or defeated by my body.

At home, they call me “Priya 3.0.” Version 1.0 was before health issues. Version 2.0 survived heart attacks. Version 3.0 is who I became with FFD.
