My Diabetes Story

In 2010, at the age of 45 and with no prior health issues aside from a rare condition called Situs Inversus, where all organs are transposed, and a reduced lung function of 65%, I underwent a laparoscopic hysterectomy.

Five years later, I noticed the development of an umbilical hernia at the site of the operation, alongside a pre-existing inguinal hernia, though it didn't cause much discomfort.

Hence, I didn't address it immediately. My lifestyle has always been moderate, and I maintain a positive outlook, practicing moderation in all things.

I meditate regularly and am spiritually inclined. Despite my active lifestyle and moderate habits, I had experienced a slow weight gain of about 10 kilos over 13 years.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, I discovered I was pre-diabetic and began following various dietary advice available online. I contracted Covid-19 three times, which may have contributed to my HbA1C levels rising to 9.5 in April 2023.

How was FFD Introduced?

I learned about FFD through one of my friends.

What made me choose FFD?

Based on my friend's recommendation and her own positive and sustainable results with the FFD program for nearly three years, I decided to join in May 2023. I enrolled in FFD's type 2 diabetes reversal program - HTP.

Reversal Story

For me, achieving freedom from my ill-health condition wasn't just about being free; it was about being determined to break free from the disease.

The four protocols of diet, exercise, inner transformation, and medical assistance formed the foundation of health. By incorporating green smoothies, stair climbing, the Nitric Oxide Dump, and various supplements like Vitamin D and B12, my health began to improve significantly.

My Blood Sugar Levels stabilized, with my HbA1c dropping to 6.8, and my creatinine levels also reached safe levels according to FFD standards.

I lost 6-7 kilograms, moving into the 'safe' BMI category from 26.3 to under 25 in the month of July 23. While my potassium levels rose, the FFD team helped me manage it with a Potassium chart.

The 321 pattern of the FFD program was comfortable and enjoyable for me. Even during my travels to the U.S., following the FFD protocol helped me maintain my blood sugar levels and overall health, demonstrating the effectiveness of the program.

I also successfully cleared my GTT test, which was a proud moment for me. Despite some challenges with my hernia, following Dr. Pramod Tripathi's exercise tips diligently to rejuvenate my pancreas and kidneys had a significant impact on my latest test results.

I passed the third FFD panel medical test with flying colors, with an A1c of 5.5, Fasting blood sugar at 97, and all other parameters at normal levels.

Moving forward, I plan to do my GSA and Vision board soon, knowing that I may need to prolong the timelines due to my recent hernia surgery.

While I may need to temporarily exclude exercises from my routine, I am confident and determined to stay on the path to 'FREEDOM'. I extend a big shout-out to the FFD team and congratulate myself too on this amazing journey.

Key Quote

Diet can be even at say 80% adherence but regularity in exercise and activity is the clincher. Maintain BMI at a safe 23.
