My Diabetes Story

About five and a half years ago, I was diagnosed with diabetes after a bout of fever. During a routine check-up at the clinic, My blood sugar levels were tested, and that’s when I received the diagnosis—Even though there was no family history of diabetes.

Initially, I didn’t face any major health issues, but after two to three years, I began noticing some effects. At the time of diagnosis, My HbA1c was quite high at 9.5%.

I also experienced significant weight loss, which worried my family. When I joined FFD, My weight was 68.5 kg.
 

How was FFD introduced and what made me choose to join it?

I first came across Freedom from Diabetes while browsing Facebook. A video featuring Dr. Malhar caught my attention and prompted me to register for an FFD webinar. Hearing the inspiring stories of people who had become medicine-free moved me.

I was also motivated by a strong desire to avoid complications like kidney disease, which I had seen affect some of my relatives. That’s when I decided to take a bold step toward better health.

The FFD team performed a detailed study of my case and designed a tailor-made plan.
 
Within just three months of joining FFD, I became completely medicine-free—not just for diabetes but also for cholesterol. My latest HbA1c is 5.7%, and I feel lighter, more energetic, and healthier than ever.
 
I have reduced unhealthy eating by 98% and reduced my weight to 57 kg. Through FFD, I discovered my athletic side—I now enjoy gym workouts and yoga and even completed 108 Surya Namaskars!
 
FFD’s Inner Transformation sessions with Dr. Yati Shah helped me build a daily routine of meditation and breathing exercises, Which kept me calm and focused. I also follow OMAD (One Meal a Day) for 15 days a month, Which helps maintain discipline and mental strength.
