My Health Story
I work as an HR professional with Tata Steel in Jamshedpur.
My health challenges began when my thyroid condition started worsening dramatically. What made it more complicated was that it wasn't just a regular thyroid issue it was autoimmune thyroid disease.
My TSH levels had shot up to around 155, and my TPO antibodies, which ideally should be below 30, were over 1000. The consequences showed up everywhere.
Within just two - three months, I gained nearly 14 kg. The weight gain was so rapid that I had to buy an entirely new set of clothes twice because nothing was fitting me anymore.
Along with the weight gain came multiple health issues:

How Was FFD Introduced and What Made Me Join?
The company regularly shares health initiatives for employees, and one of those communications introduced me to the FFD program.
By that time, my doctors had already advised me that sustainable weight loss was critical if I wanted to improve my health.
I had already started practicing yoga 6 months prior, which helped with my breathing issues, but I needed a structured system that could help me improve my overall health.
When I learned about the Holistic Transformation Program (HTP) from one of the Senior HR Leader of Tata Steel who had self enrolled and gained valuable outcome,
I decided to enroll.
Looking back, it became the platform that helped me build healthy habits systematically.
My Transformation Journey
The results started appearing much sooner than I expected.
Within the first month itself, my physician stopped my blood pressure, uric acid and triglyceride medication since my physician was also aware of FFD program.

But the biggest transformation was my weight. When I joined the program, I weighed approximately 94 kg.
In just three months, my weight came down to 78 kg. A total loss of 16 kg.
The reduction wasn't achieved through crash diets, shortcuts, or artificial supplements. It came through consistent lifestyle changes, improved eating habits, fasting protocols, movement, and accountability.
Fasting Experience
One of the biggest learnings for me was fasting.
Although I did not participate in the formal Fast for Freedom challenge, I successfully completed a 96-hour fasting protocol as part of my guided plan.
The experience taught me that the body is capable of much more than we imagine when fasting is done correctly and under proper guidance.
It also helped reinforce discipline and gave me confidence that I could take control of my health.
Athletic Identity & Lifestyle
Even before joining FFD, I had started practicing yoga because of my health concerns.
Today, yoga remains a major part of my routine.
I practice around 45 minutes of yoga six days a week.
The sessions vary between flexibility work, mobility drills, core strengthening, breathing exercises, meditation, and Surya Namaskars.
My highest Surya Namaskar count in one go has been 10 rounds.
Yoga has helped improve my posture, flexibility, mobility, and overall body awareness.
Combined with the nutritional guidance from FFD, it has become an important pillar of my transformation.
My Experience with FFD
The support system at FFD has been one of the strongest aspects of my journey.
The guidance from my dietitian and exercise expert was highly professional and practical.
What I appreciated most was that the program focuses on natural food and sustainable lifestyle habits.

Current Lifestyle & Reflection
Although I have already lost 16 kg, I know my journey is not over. My next goal is muscle strengthening and improving my body composition further.
The weight loss has given me a new lease on life, but now I want to build strength, resilience, and long-term fitness.
Looking back, I feel grateful that I chose to take action when I did.
The difference between the person I was three months ago and the person I am today is remarkable. And the best part is that this transformation feels sustainable.
