My Health Story

I have always been physically active and considered myself reasonably fit. Running has been a part of my lifestyle for years.

However, despite being active, I had gradually gained weight and reached 83.8 kg.

While I did not have major health complications, I was dealing with high blood pressure and was taking medication regularly.

My running performance was also getting affected. Most days, I could comfortably run only about 5 km.

Crossing the 10 km mark required extra effort and was not something I could do consistently.

I knew I needed to improve my health, reduce excess weight, and build a lifestyle that I could sustain for the long term.
 

How Was FFD Introduced and What Made Me Choose It?

My manager had enrolled in  Freedom From Diabetes before me.

My Reversal and Transformation Journey

The results exceeded my expectations.

Over time, I lost nearly 20 kg, bringing my weight down from 83.8 kg to 63.8 kg.

More importantly, I have successfully maintained this weight loss for almost two years after completing the program.

This was very different from my previous experience with another weight-loss program.

Earlier, I had managed to lose weight, but within six months, I regained more than half of it.

One of the biggest improvements was in my blood pressure.

Before joining the program, I was taking 40 mg blood pressure medication in the morning and another 20 mg at night.

As my weight reduced and my health improved, my medication requirement dropped significantly.
