My Diabetes Story

In 2021, I was diagnosed with diabetes after experiencing fatigue, weakness, and frequent tiredness during work. 

There is a family history of my mother being diabetic. At the time of diagnosis, my HbA1c was alarmingly high at 10.8%.

How I Found FFD

I came across Freedom From Diabetes (FFD) through online videos. I watched them multiple times, trying to understand if reversal was truly possible. After hearing real-life stories, I decided to join.

Reversal Story

When I joined FFD, my weight was 78 kg and my HbA1c was 7.8 this was already lower than my initial reading of 10.8 thanks to some early self-managed efforts.

However, the real transformation began with FFD’s structured protocols. Within just 15 days, I was able to stop all my diabetes medicines completely.

Over the next few months, my HbA1c further dropped to 6.1%, and in just six months, I successfully cleared my GTT.

Along with diabetes reversal, my kidney health improved significantly, creatinine levels came down from 1.05 to 0.94, uric acid returned to the safe range, and my eGFR improved to 96.

Weight Loss Journey

I lost about 12 kg (78 kg to 66 kg). While this weight is now stable, I am working with my dietitian to rebuild healthy weight through an anabolic diet and smoothies, as advised.

Challenges Faced

Initially, I experienced weakness due to rapid weight loss. My work schedule is hectic, making meditation and regular routines challenging.
