My diabetes story

Thirteen years ago, I still clearly recall having frequent urine infections.  My doctor prescribed me antibiotics. When I saw blood in my urine, it became serious, and I got my tests done. Blood tests revealed that I had the dreaded condition known as diabetes.

My parents both have diabetes. Mother has been in pain for over 30 years. I was fortunate enough to have never experienced any severe complications other than a digestion issue.

How did I get to know about FFD?

I learned about FFD through YouTube.

What made me choose FFD?

Reversal story

I had to take insulin four times prior to joining FFD, which was extremely painful for both me and my husband to witness. I stopped taking my insulin within a month of starting the FFD program. 

I faced many obstacles during my journey to stop taking medications, but I am now finally free of them as well. On the weight front, I am okay at a BMI of 21 but would like to gain a few kilograms. 

My HbA1c has also significantly decreased. At FFD, I came to the clear conclusion that mental health is crucial and should not be ignored. Only a mentally healthy person can have a physically healthy body.

On the exercise front, I like all forms of exercise including swimming, cycling, and running.  I have learned to swim, and I am planning to buy a bicycle also.
