My Diabetes Story
In 2019, I experienced sudden weight loss, which prompted me to get my blood tests done.
That’s when I was diagnosed with diabetes.
Before diagnosis, I had multiple symptoms; frequent hunger, constant weakness, skin irritation, and fluctuating eyesight that required frequent changes in power for my glasses.

My father had diabetes, so the diagnosis wasn’t entirely unexpected, but the symptoms were draining.
How Was FFD Introduced and What Made Me Choose It?
While searching for diabetes remedies on YouTube, I came across videos by Dr. Pramod Tripathi.
That led me to Freedom From Diabetes. I didn’t attend the introduction session, I directly joined the program.

My expectations were simple:
- I wanted to eat without fear
- Continue working night shifts
- Perform my daily routine without interruptions
Reversal Journey
When I joined the program, my HbA1c was 6.7.
Within the first three months, it dropped to 5.7, which was a big confidence boost.
Over time, my HbA1c fluctuated, and the lowest I achieved was around 5.7. Recently, it increased slightly to 6.4, which made me reflect and recommit.

I had been taking one diabetes medication earlier, but after joining FFD, I was advised to focus on food correction instead and medicines were stopped.
My starting weight was 75.5 kg.
With dietary changes and smoothies, I reached 70 kg within five months and have maintained between 72 kg since then.

My cholesterol, which was earlier above 200, came down to below 150, though I don’t recall the exact figure.
This was another major improvement.

Athletic Identity
Initially, even climbing stairs caused fatigue. Today, I can easily climb up to six floors without exhaustion.
My routine includes:
- Gym workouts
- Yoga and pranayama
- Surya Namaskar (up to 60 repetitions)
These changes significantly improved my stamina and confidence.
Inner Transformation & Mental Shift
I attended two inner transformation sessions, which helped me address hidden fears and communication-related hesitation.
I realised that fear of “what might go wrong” was holding me back.

Those sessions changed my perspective and helped me approach both work and life more calmly.
Though work schedules interrupted regular meditation, the impact of those sessions stayed with me.

Current Lifestyle & Reflection
Today, my sleep quality is much better. My focus has improved, irritability has reduced, and I feel more emotionally balanced.
I realised that lifestyle change cannot be treated as a one-year program.
I became slightly overconfident after initial success, lost momentum, and learned an important lesson; this has to be a lifelong commitment.

My next goal is to bring my HbA1c back below 5.5 and maintain it consistently.
