Diabetes entered my life almost quietly. My mother was diabetic, and both my older brothers were diabetic too, so I always knew I was at risk.

I was on medication for almost 12 years taking Janumet 50/500 twice a day which interfered with my digestion so was put on januvia twice a day.

How Was FFD Introduced and What Made Me Choose It?
A family friend mentioned Freedom From Diabetes almost two years before I joined, but I didn’t take it seriously then.
Last year, while I was in London helping my daughter after her delivery, my routine completely collapsed; erratic sleep, irregular meals, stress, and constant fatigue. My sugar levels started rising sharply.

Athletic Identity
I have always believed in staying active. For nearly 9 years, I’ve been working out at home with a personal trainer.
Currently, my routine includes:
- Yoga and cardio
- FFD-recommended exercises
- Daily breathing and meditation
- 25 Surya Namaskars at a stretch
I may not label myself “athletic,” but movement has been a part of my life and FFD added structure and purpose to it.

Current Lifestyle & Reflection
Was the transition easy? Not at all, especially during travel. It took me nearly one full month to adapt completely to the FFD food protocol.
But once I started noticing changes in post-meal lethargy, better energy, improved sugars, and mental clarity I knew this was working.
Today, I follow the program about 70% consistently, with full awareness of what I eat and how I manage stress.
My goal is clear: to become medicine-free in the coming months, safely and confidently.
