My Diabetes Story

My diabetes was diagnosed during a routine blood investigation when I was undergoing tests for a severe headache.

The reports showed elevated HbA1c and high post-meal sugar levels, even though I had no noticeable symptoms.

There is a family history of diabetes, as my father developed diabetes around the age of 60.

However, my diagnosis came much earlier at the age of 40.

Later, when I started strength training and muscle-building exercises, my weight increased slightly to around 65.5 kg, but this time it was due to healthy muscle gain rather than fat.

One of the biggest milestones for me was clearing the Impaired Glucose Tolerance Test (IGT), which confirmed that my body had significantly improved its glucose handling capacity.
