I'm Asha Sathya Narayanan. I worked as a teacher for 17 long years in Gulf, lived in KSA for 10 years and Doha for 7 years, now retired.

My diabetes story

Saudi Arabia, the land of opportunities, beckoned me with open arms as I set out to find a job. However, fate had other plans for me. As I landed there, my body was wracked by an excruciating urinary tract infection that left me troubled and helpless.

It was then that I decided to seek medical help from a local doctor who soon broke the news that shattered my world - I had diabetes! Though both my parents were diabetics too, my case was unique and complex.

The love marriage hurdles coupled with stressful job hunting may have taken their toll on my health.

How did FFD happen?

I had heard about FFD since 2016, but it wasn't until I stumbled upon Dr. B.M. Hegde's video that my interest was truly piqued. Watching him praise Dr. Pramod Tripathi's work was like discovering a hidden treasure trove of hope for all those suffering from diabetes.

What made me choose FFD?

I never liked being on medicines. With FFD, I saw a hope of going free of medicines. The introductory webinar by Dr. Pramod Tripathi added to my confidence and I enrolled in Freedom from Diabetes type 2 diabetes reversal program - HTP immediately

Reversal story

Diabetes is a daunting disease that affects millions of people worldwide. The thought of managing it can be overwhelming, but with the help of FFD teams, hand-holding, and support has been remarkable. Their four FFD protocols are simply superb and provide amazing results in no time.

However, as someone who tends to overdo things, I made a big mistake by pushing myself too hard and ended up being admitted to ICU due to ketoacidosis. That's when I recollected Dr. Pramod Tripathi's wise words - "Do not overthink.. Do as we say".

It was then clear that FFD had already come up with a well-thought-out program that caters to everyone's needs. I came back again, ready for my second chance at this journey. And boy oh boy! It is great to be free from injecting insulin - 74 units of Actrapid and 24 units of Lantus.

All thanks to the guidance provided by the FFD team. Although I am still on diabetes medication, I am positive about getting rid of them soon under their guidance. What’s more? My weight loss journey during this process has been noteworthy - down from 94.4 kg to 70.4kg!

My HbA1c levels have also improved significantly from 13.1 down to 6.9 which is just unbelievable.

My lifestyle changes have been immense since starting my journey with FFD teams' support - I am gymming like no man's business for an hour and a half five times a week, yoga thrice a week, and spot jogging 15-20 minutes.

I have high hopes that I might soon develop into a good marathoner.
