My Diabetes Story
I was diagnosed with diabetes about 17–18 years ago. There was no strong family history.

How Was FFD Introduced & Why I Chose It
I first came across Freedom From Diabetes about two years ago, but at that time, I couldn’t continue due to financial reasons.
Later, my son encouraged me to join again, believing that structured guidance and lifestyle correction would help me more than medicines alone.
That is when I decided to restart my journey with FFD.

After joining FFD and consistently following the guidance, my medicines were gradually reduced, and I began to notice much better stability in my sugar levels.
My fasting sugars improved, settling around 135–140, and my weight came down from 63 kg to around 58 kg.

My fitness routine includes:
- Daily light exercises
- Surya Namaskar (modified) as per my comfort
- Simple standing movements and guided exercises from the program
Though I experience some back and bone pain, I remain committed to staying active every day.
Current Lifestyle & Reflection
Today, I follow a structured, simple diet as guided:
- Balanced breakfasts with lentils, vegetables, roti, and salad
- Light dinners with phulka, besan-based foods, or vegetables
- Regular meals and discipline over indulgence
Because I am not very comfortable with English, my son helps me understand sessions and instructions, and I prefer Hindi explanations. Despite this, I have stayed consistent and focused.
