My Diabetes Story
I did not have any major symptoms, but I did notice that I was feeling increasingly lethargic and especially tired and sleepy, especially after meals.
That’s when my mother, an FFD participant, insisted I get a few detailed tests done, including fasting insulin, HbA1c and microalbumin.
The reports shocked me: my microalbumin was 1250, fasting insulin 27.2 and my HbA1c was 6.3. I was prediabetic, with my kidney function already compromised.
How was FFD introduced and what made me choose it?
My mother had joined FFD years ago and remained consistent with her health practices. When I saw my results, she guided me to consult FFD.
I wasn’t planning to join initially, but one call with Dr. Amruta Prabhu changed everything. She showed me how I could manage without a biopsy or invasive kidney procedures. I joined FFD within a week.

Reversal Story
In just 10 days of starting FFD, I was able to stop my BP medication after 15 years.
My microalbumin levels dropped drastically from 1250 to 450 within the first month or two, and eventually reached 102.8.
My fasting insulin decreased from 27.2 to 11.7, and my HbA1c dropped from 6.3 to 5.5.
My eGFR significantly improved, my creatinine levels came down, and my kidney sonography reports showed visible improvements.
It was a remarkable shift that gave me both hope and renewed energy.
Athletic Identity
I’m still discovering my athletic identity. I enjoy cycling, yoga, trekking and badminton, but due to CKD, my exercise and protein intake are closely regulated. I now go to the gym, practice yoga, and plan my physical activity carefully.
Current Lifestyle & Reflection
I used to stay up until 4:30 a.m., binge eat at midnight, live a sedentary lifestyle, not drink water, eat non-vegetarian food almost every day, and eat out frequently.
Now, I follow a two-meal-a-day routine, sleep on time, drink 2 litres of water every day, and completely avoid processed foods. The change has been dramatic — I feel lighter, much more energetic and truly in control of my health.
Inner Transformation
I didn’t explore FFD’s Inner Transformation sessions in depth, but I did consult Dr. Udita for my sleep issues. Meditation, pranayama, and magnesium supplements helped me a lot.
I’ve now created my own routine: early dinners, limited screen time, and soothing audio discourses before bed. It works for me.
Support System & Expert Team
I am deeply grateful to the entire FFD team for their unwavering support and guidance.
To Dr. Amruta Prabhu — for helping me avoid a kidney biopsy, for her expert diagnosis, her incredible patience in listening, and for guiding me so sincerely on my CKD reversal journey.
To Dr. Pramod Tripathi and Dr. Malhar Ganla — for their unwavering motivation that inspires me to stay fearless, and for the deep confidence and faith they embody in the FFD system, which gives me strength and keeps me moving forward with hope and determination.
And to my diet and exercise experts — for their structured, practical, and compassionate advice at every step.
I truly feel blessed to have such a dedicated team by my side.
