My Diabetes Story
My diabetes journey began unexpectedly. At age 40, while serving in the Indian Army, I had severe stomach pain due to a burst appendix. During that medical emergency, doctors discovered I was diabetic.
Since then, diabetes has become part of my life. Over the years, I moved from oral medicines to heavy doses of insulin. Despite being disciplined, my weight gradually touched 95–96 kg.
