My Diabetes Story

I was initially diagnosed as a Type 2 diabetic, but over time my condition progressed and was later identified as Type 1 diabetes.

It is an autoimmune condition, and I have been dependent on both fast-acting and slow-acting insulin.

Weight loss was one of my major challenges.

At one point, my weight dropped significantly, which affected my overall strength and confidence.

How was FFD introduced and what made me choose it?

My Reversal 

When I joined the program, my weight was around 55 kg and my HbA1c was 9.5.

Over time, with structured dietary guidance, exercise protocols, and proper insulin awareness, my control improved.

Today, my HbA1c has come down to around 8.5, and my weight has increased to 59 kg.

Even though I continue insulin, I now understand how to balance it correctly with food and activity.

Athletic Identity

Despite multiple challenges, including a past leg surgery with a plate, I stay physically active.

I play table tennis for 2–3 hours regularly and also do gym workouts for about half an hour daily.

Staying active has helped me maintain both physical and mental strength.
