My Story
In 2023, I went for a regular health check and found my HbA1c was 6, which meant I was prediabetic.
There were no symptoms, no fatigue, no excessive thirst so it came as a surprise. Still, I knew it was a wake-up call.
I had no family history of diabetes, but I was aware that my weight (83 kg) and sedentary lifestyle were putting me at risk.
My food habits were also poor fried foods, sweets, and irregular eating times were routine.
That’s when our company’s wellness initiative introduced an awareness session by Freedom From Diabetes.
Listening to the concepts of natural reversal and holistic health, I felt immediately connected. I joined FFD soon after, determined to take charge of my health before it got worse.

I learned what foods truly nourish the body; more greens, fruits, salads, and whole grains instead of oily, processed meals.
I also developed daily activity discipline walking, stretching, and small fitness routines that keep my energy stable through the day.
Earlier, even simple work felt tiring or made me lazy. Now, I move through the day with ease and enthusiasm.
Athletic Identity
I’ve built my athletic identity around brisk walking and slow running.
I usually walk 7–8 kilometres in a stretch and continue for around 45 minutes a day, at least 4–5 days a week.
These routines keep me active, maintain my weight, and bring a sense of balance.
Current Lifestyle & Reflection
Today, my lifestyle feels structured and sustainable. I know what to eat, how much, and when.
I no longer crave oily or sugary foods, and my physical stamina has improved dramatically.
I practise meditation 4–5 days a week, which helps me manage stress and stay calm.
I also follow FFD’s inner transformation teachings, especially about forgiveness and mindfulness.
The improvement in my lab values creatinine down from 1.04 to 0.84 and SGOT/SGPT ratio from 1.04 to 0.68 is proof of how holistic this change has been.
I feel grateful that I detected the problem early and took action at the right time.
