My Diabetes Story

I discovered my diabetes during a routine checkup in 2013. There was no family history, no symptoms, no discomfort.

Like many people say, diabetes comes with “parallel gifts” BP, cholesterol, and other metabolic issues slowly follow.

I was taking medicines on and off, not always consistently. The numbers stayed manageable, but deep down I knew this wasn’t real control.

How Was FFD Introduced and What Made Me Choose It?

I came across a Freedom From Diabetes program message and decided to enroll.

I had already explored different options, but what attracted me here was the focus on commitment and reversal, not dependency.

My Reversal Story

When I joined the program, my HbA1c was around 8.3 to 7.2, and my weight fluctuated between 87 kg.

Today, my weight has come down steadily to 82.5 kg, with a noticeable waist reduction of 1.5 inches.

At 178–180 cm tall, my focus was never on looking thin or weak, but on building and maintaining strength, balance, and long-term fitness. 

I believe health is about sustainability, not extremes.

Under FFD guidance, some medicines were reduced or stopped wherever side effects outweighed benefits, following a logical and practical approach rather than blind dependency.

This shift gave me confidence that my health was finally being managed with clarity and control.
