My Diabetes Story
My diabetes diagnosis came unexpectedly in 2013 while applying for term insurance. During the mandatory medical tests, the reports showed elevated blood sugar levels.
Until that moment, I had no symptoms at all. If there had been symptoms, I might have tested earlier.
But since the condition was discovered in the report, I started medication immediately.
But since the condition was discovered in the report, I started medication immediately.
There was also a family history of diabetes, as both my parents were taking medication. So, I assumed this was simply something I had inherited and would have to manage lifelong.
Fortunately, I never faced major complications. My sugars remained reasonably controlled with medication, and life continued as usual.
But somewhere inside, I always wondered if something more could be done beyond medicines.
How Was FFD Introduced and What Made Me Choose It?
My first exposure to Freedom from Diabetes happened when my wife attended a Discover Reversal Session. She shared what she learned at home, but at that time we did not pursue it further.
Later, I started noticing posts by Dr. Malhar and Dr. Pramod Tripathi on LinkedIn and Instagram.
Their content was research-based and practical, which caught my attention.

I attended an FFD event in 2024, mainly to observe the experiences of participants. Listening to people who had cleared their GTT and reversed diabetes was both surprising and inspiring.
That moment changed my mindset.
I decided to join the program with one clear goal: clearing my GTT and achieving true reversal.

My Reversal Journey
By the time I formally began my structured journey, my HbA1c and Fasting was fluctuating. Over time, with consistent lifestyle changes and the guidance from the FFD ecosystem, my numbers steadily improved.
My HbA1c gradually came down to 6.1, then briefly touched 6.3 during the transition, and finally stabilized at 5.6, which is completely in the normal range.
My Triglyceride–HDL ratio also improved significantly, moving from 2.20 to 1.30, reflecting better metabolic health.
One of the most powerful learnings during the program was fasting.
Earlier, fasting was not something I ever practiced.
But through the guidance of the program, I discovered that structured fasting could be a powerful tool to improve metabolic health and reduce inflammation.

Today, I can comfortably perform water-only fasts, and the results are remarkable.
My fasting sugar readings the day after fasting often become exceptionally stable, which makes me very happy.

Fasting sugar stabilized around 95 to 105, it used to be around 120
Throughout this journey, Dr. Neha has been an incredible support.
She frequently checked in proactively, guided me on supplements when needed, and ensured my progress stayed on track.

What helped the most was fully surrendering to the process and applying the learnings consistently.
Athletic Identity
Exercise has now become a natural part of my life.
Earlier, I was a recreational runner, but after joining the program, my focus towards fitness has become stronger and more structured.
Today, I am actively training and preparing to complete a 21-kilometre marathon in the coming months.
For someone who once believed diabetes would always limit life, this transformation feels extremely empowering.
Current Lifestyle & Reflection
Today, my lifestyle revolves around knowledge, discipline, and consistency.
I follow structured exercise routines, apply the 3-2-11 exercise principle, practice fasting when needed, and continue learning through the knowledge sessions by Dr. Malhar, and Dr. Pramod Tripathi.
My few of family members and even a close friend has now joined the program after seeing my results. I also share valuable health knowledge within my professional circles and health groups.
If my journey inspires even a few people to take control of their health, I consider that a meaningful contribution.
Looking back, joining FFD was one of the best investments I have made for my health.
