I didn’t have any visible symptoms when I was first diagnosed. My HbA1c was found high during an annual check-up, and my doctor started me on Metformin.

I practice daily chanting and spiritual reading, which keeps me centered and helps me manage life calmly.

Athletic Identity
I’ve never been into intense sports, but I maintain an active routine that suits me. I walk daily with a friend and practice yoga thrice a week with a trainer. It keeps me flexible, grounded, and joyful.
At my age, I prefer gentle but consistent activity. Anything beyond that tends to cause cramps due to menopausal changes so I listen to my body and move mindfully.
Current Lifestyle & Reflection
Today, I’m completely medicine-free and my sugars remain under control. My HbA1c stays around 6.4, and I feel healthy, stable, and grateful.
