I am Madan A. Ingle from Hubli. I work with the Railways. I have always believed in maintaining good health, and I have been practicing meditation regularly for over 22 years. Still, I was curious to experience the Freedom From Diabetes (FFD) ecosystem and understand its approach to holistic well-being.

Key Takeaways
  • Connected with FFD Community
  • Guided me with Yoga & Meditation
  • How daily routine & mindfulness eating helps

How was FFD introduced and what made me join?

FFD came into my life through my wife, who is connected with the FFD community.

One of her colleagues had joined the program, and through them, we learned about the FFD retreat.

Out of curiosity and interest in structured lifestyle learning, I decided to attend the residential retreat.

My Retreat Experience

The retreat was a two-day residential program. From the moment I entered, I felt comfortable and welcomed.

The sessions included:
  • Guided exercise
  • Yoga
  • Meditation
  • Group interactions
  • Lifestyle awareness sessions
I particularly enjoyed the calm environment and the structured morning routines. The combination of physical movement and meditation helped me feel more alert and refreshed.

Since I already practice meditation, I could connect easily with the retreat’s inner transformation approach. It reinforced my belief that mental clarity is as important as physical health.

Mindset & Learnings

The biggest takeaway from the retreat was understanding how disciplined daily routines, mindful eating, and conscious living can improve overall well-being.

The group interactions were also enriching, exchanging thoughts with like-minded participants created a positive learning environment.

Current Lifestyle & Reflection

By God’s grace, I do not face major health issues. The FFD retreat experience helped me reflect on improving dietary discipline and staying consistent with healthy daily practices.

It was not just a retreat, it was a reminder to stay aware, stay active, and stay mindful.
